Senior Technician – Protein Purification
You are a scientist with 3 to 8 years of experience in laboratory technical work in purification of recombinant proteins at bench- to pilot-scale, with industry experience in:
- protein biochemistry
- purification techniques
- quantitative and qualitative analyses
- protein expression an additional asset.
As a member of ERA’s scientific team, you will work in a dynamic inter-disciplinary environment, and will plan, perform, report, present and trouble-shoot experiments under the guidance of senior scientist. Your responsibility will focus purification and characterization and process optimization
You are an autonomous technician comfortable and efficient in a result-oriented team environment; you have the aptitude to organize and summarize experimental data according to notebook procedures. Your tasks might include providing technical information and custom service to external partners and clients.
Your formal training includes a science degree in biochemistry, biology or pharmacy, with a strong emphasis in protein biochemistry, ideally with good understanding of molecular biology. Your experience includes column chromatography, ELISA analysis and computer literacy.
The lab’s languages are Catalan, Spanish and English, and reporting language is English. Proficiency in other languages is an asset.

Senior Researcher – High-throughput Protein Purification
You are a scientist with a PhD on recombinant protein production in eukaryotic systems at bench – to pilot-scale, with industry experience in:
- protein biochemistry (FPLC, HPLC, CE)
- structural biology (crystallography, NMR techniques)
- High-throughput screening methodology
- biological (enzymology and cell based assay) and biophysical assay
- protein expression is an additional assets
As a member of ERA’s scientific team, you will work in a dynamic inter-disciplinary environment and leader your own projects. Your responsibility will focus from gene to bioactive protein.
You are an autonomous researcher comfortable and efficient in a result-oriented team environment; you have the aptitude to organize and summarize experimental data according to notebook procedures. Your tasks might include providing technical information and custom service to external partners and clients.
Your formal training includes a biochemistry, biology or chemical PhD with a strong emphasis in protein biochemistry, ideally with good understanding of molecular biology. Your experience includes protein expression eukaryotic systems, ELISA analysis and industry softwares designer analysis.

- protein biochemistry
- molecular biology
- purification techniques
- quantitative and qualitative analysis
- process adaptation to pilot scale
- process transfer to QC and cGMP large-scale
As a member of ERA’s scientific team, you will work in a dynamic inter-disciplinary environment and leader your own projects. Your responsibility will focus on technology transfer from R&D to production.
You are an autonomous researcher comfortable and efficient in a result-oriented team environment; you have the aptitude to organize and summarize experimental data according to notebook procedures. Your tasks might include providing technical information and custom service to external partners and clients.
Your formal training includes a biochemistry, biology or chemical PhD or engineer degree with a strong emphasis in protein biochemistry, ideally with good understanding of molecular biology. Your experience includes protein expression eukaryotic systems and industry softwares designer analysis.
