ERA Biotech appoints Interim CEO, Mr. Lieven De Smedt

On 15 September,  2010, ERA Biotech’s Board of Directors announced the appointment of Mr. Lieven De Smedt as Interim CEO of the company. Lieven De Smedt has more than 20 years experience in leading business strategies of technology based companies towards success. In 2000 he founded InnoTune which focuses in contributing to define and carry out corporate and business strategies for new and existing companies (EU&US). His wide experience in due diligence for emerging technologies, financing rounds and M&A programs has led many companies to significant commercial and financial deals. As engineer he also holds an MBA (KUL-Leuven, Belgium) and a Master in Finance by the University of Tilburg (The Netherlands).
