Barcelona, June 30th, 2009 - ERA Biotech S.A. announces the opening of scientific positions, to support the next stage of the company’s activities and developments. For most of the job profiles detailed below, several positions have been opened; please indicate in your cover letter which job interest you most. As well, mention your project management expertise, if any.

The positions of Downstream Technicians will take on the challenge to recover different Zera® recombinant proteins from plants at bench to pilot-scale. Concentration methods, chromatographic techniques and quantitative and qualitative protein analyses will be used.

The position of Plant Technician/Engineer will lead the generation and screening of transgenic plants and stable plant lines with Zera® recombinant proteins.

The positions of Downstream Seniors will contribute to process the biomass and the purification of Zera® recombinant proteins from plants hosts at bench- to pilot-scale.

The position of Biochemical/Bioprocess Engineer will establish downstream process development of Zera® recombinant proteins from plants at bench- to pilot scale.
