ERA Biotech announces nomination of Vice President Technology
Dr.Stefan R. Schmidt will join ERA as VP Technology on March 2, 2009 to turn the Zera®/StoPro™ technology into a protein-production industry standard. He brings to ERA 12 years of managerial experience in Biotech and Big Pharma, and was previously Associate Director for Protein Science at AstraZeneca R&D (Sweden), with global responsibility of protein production for drug discovery. Dr. Schmidt is frequent guest at international conferences and authored peer-reviewed scientific publications. MSc and PhD in Biochemistry (Julius Maximilians University in Würzburg, Germany, 1996), MBA-Marketing (University in Gävle, Sweden 2009).
